The Case of the Detached Feet

I doubt that  pondering by the likes of Holmes and Watson would be able to solve this one. Since 2007 14 detached feet, encased in a running shoe have washed up on B.C. and Washington beaches. Authorities claim that no foul play is involved. The odds of this many feet washing ashore in a relatively small area, are millions to one. By the time the 4th foot surfaced in May of 2008, the mystery had officially gone from “unusual” to “curious”. In November of 2011, not one but both feet belonging to the same person washed up at separate locations. Authorities stated at a news conference that these feet belonged to a woman who committed suicide in 2004 by jumping off a bridge. Definitely something to ponder.
