It’s a weird photo taken at monument to the revolution. A plaza surrounding an impressive 50 foot tall arch illuminated by banks of coloured lights. This photo captures someone reclining on one of the light sources. π
Hi Valerie, Sam Sullivan and i are heading to Mexico City on December 1st – 8th. We are finding accessibility to be a bit of a challenge as we expected. We want to find a neighbourhood that we can settle in and just move around from there. I have found a taxi driver with a ramp and have the opportunity to book him everyday.
What neighbourhoods do you recommend? Thank you. I know you are busier than ever this time of year.

I don’t know how photographers do this but your husband’s photos are totally recognizable. The subject choice, lighting, color spectrum, human story, the shadows; it is his unique brand and I love it.
Your comment just made my day. I couldn’t agree more! His understanding of light, ability to evoke emotional responses and eye for raw storytelling amaze me. Off to share your comment with him…
Whatβs the subject of the last photo?

Second photo in this post was taken at the same place on plaza leading up to the monument. π

A reincarnated Michelangelo eyeing up his next challenge (nobody told him about cameras …)

Look at Condense, Roma Norte or Polanco – off the top of my head the best places to research. Have a wonderful time. Really excited for you.
Could be the mood I’m in but I find a disconcerting, haunting quality to these images. I’m particularly taken by the child in image 1…

Give him my regards from a remote fan!
